Ecotronic
We were recently asked to come up with a new design for the Ecotronic Chic Torch. The torch is unique in that you can recharge it by squeezing its handle. Its also a great alternative to buying kids chocolate for Easter.
Although the fundamentals of the deisgn were already in place we tweaked it and added some fun Easter related imagery to give a fresh and relevant feel.

Dan Dare
We are currentley working on the packaging for the new Dan Dare range of Toys and Games, watch this space for more details when they are released in 2010.

Ecotronic - Retro Range
Working closely with Ecotronic on their other toy ranges we have helped reinvigorate some classic games titles all of which will be avialable at the 2010 Spring Fair in Birmingham.

Tradestock - Homeware Design and Distribution
Tradestocks packaging needed a fresh look and feel with the aim of appealing to more sophisticated customers and more high brow distributers such as John Lewis and Marks and Spencer.
By implementing two different strategies we achieved this goal.
Traditionaly Tradestock used acetate to package there placemates and coaster ranges. Despite the advantage of being able to see through acetate it did scatch quite easily which detracted from the products appearance especially after time on the shop floor and in storage. To over come this issue we developed a tactile box with a large window that enabled the majority of the product to be viewed and touched!
Secondly and perhaps even more importantly we decided to define their products by range; studio, natural and traditional. Allowing us to develop colour schemes and illustrated icons that expressed each range appropriately. This was implemented by using bands that were attached separately to each box. Which had the added benefit that products could be customised easily for various clients.
As a result higher price points were achieved and John Lewis took on a variety of ranges.
