Lonestar Conversions - Logo and Website Design

Lonestar Conversions are in the business of transporting the rich and famous to and from large events. Of course normal transport wont do for these individuals, which is where Lonestar come in.

They transform Mercedes Vans into luxury vehicles with all manner of gadgets and gizmos to keep their VIP's entertained.

Lonestar already had a clear idea of what they wanted with their logo so we just guided them and tweaked their original design. For their website we created something that show cased their vehicles and gave them something quite slick which reflected their secret end product.

A temporary site is now up and running and we expect their main site to go live in May.

Ecotronic - Retro Range Logo

Ecotronic needed a new logo for their Retro Toys and Games products.

We created something that was really strong, bold and bright that encapsulates the era. The font used for the logo is synonymous with time, especially Dan Dare.

We carefully selected the right fonts for the job, for the title we used 'Balloon font' which was ever present on monster movie posters in the 1950's, also this is a nice contrast form the hard stright lines of the News Gothic Condensed.

The logo is certainly punchy and would be hard not to notice.

Copy Carats - Copy Writing and Marketing Services

Copy Carats is an advertising and marketing solution. They are ideas people who can hone a tight and targeted message that will get results - in print, in radio, on the web and direct mail.

After redesigning their website in 2006 we were invited back to redesign their logo in the same visual style.

The original pen and quill with a modern illustrative look and feel not only represents forward thinking attitude but is a nice tie in with the directors origin (New Zealand).

The typewriter style font complements this classic but modern treatment.

Ingleside House - Conference & Events Venue

Background Info

In December 2008 Ingleside House opened to the regional business community as a brand new conference and meetings venue. After a year-long refurbishment programme, the Grade II listed building in Cirencester has been sympathetically converted from a former school to a versatile business facility with major investment in state of the art communications technology and a luxurious style of its own.

Brief

To create a corporate identity. The client had preferred colours of dark green and gold to reflect the history of the venue and to apeal to a target audience of mid to upmarket.

Solution

Working closely with the client on ideas a combination of fine filigree with key hole chararteristics to convey a feeling of opening a door to opportunity was created for the symbol part of the logo. To support the symbol a very bold classic font was chosen “Georgia” with a gold effect to maintain the clients desire for something traditional and to stay in tune with the venue.
